Nice breakfast but I suggest to present some vegan options for people like me who do not eat animals and dairy (plant based yogurt or beverage like soy or oat milk / jam or hummous for the bread) Otherwise the tea and bread were delicious! Amazing and welcoming staff (Miss Maria, Muhammad and Islam ) and owner Mr. Hussein. Excellent driver service from airport with Mr. Khaled and also to visit Giza and Sakkara pyramids. Very friendly and nice. Excellent location downtown, near Cairo Museum, Souk, Mosques, Nile River, Giza...

The location is unsurpassed for a traveller wanting to stay in right in the hustle and bustle of downtown Cairo. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel has a historic feel. The premises are clean and functional.

The place is perfectly located in downtown, right close by Egyptian museum. There are plenty of cool places to eat nearby and it’s a 10 min taxi ride to Zamalek— the most hip area of Cairo.. The staff was very nice and let us check in a bit earlier and check out a little later. The room was at the 6th floor, it had a very comfortable bed , clean and we also liked the wooden floor and high ceilings! There was an air conditioner but we did not need it. The breakfast is served at the same floor which is convenient. We liked it, it’s a good value and keeps you full for several hours (although not very diverse :)).

The view is really great!! The staff was really friendly with us and they offered a good breakfast as well but due to a misunderstanding from booking side they thought I was complaining 😅 a thing which is not true as I was contacting booking for another hotel. Anyhow, we have managed to resolve it immediately. I really liked it since it was near to everything and it was not noisy at night as I thought it could be. The room was clean, sheets are good as well. So, honestly I highly recommend it for even more than 1 night.

The location of this hotel is really fantastic, right in the middle of Downtown Cairo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and brought me tea and coffee in my room. The room had a lovely balcony which was really nice to sit on in the mornings and afternoons. Nice omelette for breakfast! Comfortable and large bed!

The location is great walking around the area there is a lot going on. The room is very basic but it gives you everything you need.The staff are all very friendly and helpful..A/C in the room are great. Excellent value for money and location great for walking around.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We had a nice bedroom with aircon and were offered cleaning every day. Our needs were always met, and they went the extra mile to give us an unforgettable stay.

Grand Royal A nice place in Cairo downtown.the staff were very welcoming and helpful the room was good value for money . Clean and tidy room with air-conditioning, Good breakfast in the morning and WI fi internet inside my room . Great experience
